The unique HiSilicon chipset

HiSilicon Hi3798C V200 by Huawei from 2016 is offered in architecture with a 4-core 64-bit Cortex A53 CPU processor and 4-core graphics Mail-720 GPU. It is undoubtedly one of the best components available in set top box devices. Device management is possible from the level of an Android phone / tablet thanks to the HiControl application. The content of the HiMedia Q5 screen is displayed on our mobile device, thanks to which we can easily control the device.

The use of 2GB fast DDR3 RAM memory allows for fast and efficient work, allowing the use of multiple applications at the same time. Built-in 8GB of internal memory eMMC 5.0 allows you to conveniently install the most popular applications. If necessary, the memory can be enlarged by connecting external media via USB and a memory card reader. Q5 Pro also works great in the network using popular SMB, UPNP or NFS protocols.

Support 7.1HD audio ,HiMedia Q5 Pro supports all HD-Audio formats. Dolby True-HD, Dolby True-HD ATMOS, DTS:X, DTS-HD MA, 5.1/7.1 LPCM, DTS, and Dolby Digital AC3 can all be downmixed and bitstreamed (passthrough) using either the built in HiMedia video player app or any version of Kodi with HiMedia wrapper.

Kodi 16.0 is pre-installed (TBC). Any version of Kodi can be modified by an easy to install HiMedia patch (known as 'wrapper') giving 7.1 HD-Audio, 4K60, 10bit colour, and 3D ISO support in Kodi.
